Do I need a permit for a walkout or separate entrance?
Yes. In most GTA municipalities a separate entrance needs a building permit, and a basement apartment has its own requirements. Your contractor or designer handles the permit; we dig to the approved drawings.
Can you dig a stairwell in a narrow side yard?
